Hello Family and Friends!!

So, this week, I only have time to share a couple experiences.

People in Japan are amazing and I am so glad that I am here and get to participate in this work! The other day, we met a young man, probably 26 or so, who spoke really good English. Ps. I don:t know what is up with us finding all of these people that speak English but... anywway... We were talking to him and shared a message about the Book of Mormon with him. He was so genuine and sincere and told us that he could feel that we were telling the truth and that what we were saying was what we really believed. When we gave him the Book of Mormon, he was excited to read it. When we called him, he said that he hadn:t read the whole thing yet but that he had ready 40-50 pages... this was only two days later. He said that he didn:t know that a Bible like that could be so enjoyable to read! He lives far away so it is difficult to meet with him but we are trying our best to meet with him so he can know the importance of this message!

Also, we have been teaching a wonderful woman named Kume San who is so faithful and is so ready to learn. Last sunday, we had a lesson planned for after church but she called us before church and said that she was on her way! We had a small lesson, she came to Sacrament on fast sunday which was really neat, and we asked her to come to church the next sunday (yesterday). Unfortunately, she was sick and didn:t come but we visited her after church. She is amazing and has studied all the pamphlets that she got from the sunday before and she has been reading the Book of Mormon. It has been wonderful and we have really high hopes for her. We have met some more awesome people and in fact, because we are trying to work to the last few minutes of our night to contact people, for the last two nights in a row, the last people that we have talked to have accepted return appointments and we even gave a Book of Mormon to one of them! We are trying to be as obedient as possible and even sprinted, literally sprinted (which, BTW is perfectly normal in Japan) back home so we could be in the door by 9pm. Love you all!

Mizuguchi Choro teaches breakdancing as a way to get youth interested in coming to the church and also some families in the ward like it too. This is Junekun. He is the dang cutest little kid! Also, we are basically chefs and make some good looking food. This is an awesome looking Ramen place. Also, still love these reflection shots of the bike and my missionary self! ha. And also, good old Chevy Tahoe! America!!

Week 15

I:m still in Saga, Japan for my second transfer with Elder Christensen still as my companion. We get to hang out and save the world together for at least one more transfer. Transfers happen every six weeks and there are 16 transfers in my mission. I:m still excited to be in Saga; the members are wonderful and I am still getting used to everything so if I had to adapt to an all new area I would be even more overwhelmed. The weather is good, a little cold, a little rainy. But today is really nice and sunny! So that is good! The diet is just fine. we feed ourselves most of the time so we don:t have to eat weird stuff because... we make normal things. Rice on rice with a side of rice most often though!! That cat and I have actually become friends now and it isn:t as noisy as it used to be! But ya, it hangs outside our apartment sometimes and I get to pet it every now and then.

 This is a crazy hamburger we made this week! This is a wonderful family in our ward with the other two missionaries that we live with. The elder in the blue suit transfered out and now Elder Murphy is with us! he is a Great Elder! This is my companion in his rain suit... I feel like a cat in a sweater when I put mine on, I don:t want to move and just want to fall over! Mine is also bright blue and it is pretty terrible but... maybe i:ll include a picture sometime. And this is just a picture I took in a cool reflection mirror thing; thought it was cool. Anyway, I love you all!
